DEFINITION OF COOKIES
Cookies are small strings of text that websites visited by the user send to the device used (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone, notebook, etc.), where they are stored to then be retransmitted to the same websites during the user’s next visit. Depending on their characteristics and use, cookies can be divided into the following categories:

c) Profiling cookies: aimed at creating user profiles and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed during web browsing.
Regarding their origin, cookies can be first-party or third-party.
-
A first-party cookie is installed by the website operator the user is visiting (in this case, Associazione Teleion).
